Nov 30, 2012 · Hi all, New to this forum. I have just subscribed to BTGuard and then downloaded uTorrent. I am just querying if BTGuard is doing its job. It is connected, so I have the green padlock item showing. Sometime in the last few months I started seeing this issue: none of my Feeds in utorrent display any contents while I have the torguard proxy activated. Apr 04, 2018 · Within the Preferences menu replace proxy.btguard.com with 127.0.0.1 (the address of the local computer). Leave all the other settings, including your login information, the same. Restart uTorrent for the changes to take effect. You’ll still be connected to the BTGuard servers but the traffic between uTorrent and those servers will be encrypted.
